My Lockdown According to Disney +

  • These past 50 something days I was able to do a lot of "research". I started Game of Thrones again just to be equally as disappointed in the last season as I was before and still shocked from the Red Wedding scene. I also decided to dabble in True Blood, I hear rewatching something where you already know the outcome is soothing to the brain, yet after a few sleepless nights and manic dreams I decided to shift my focus onto something a little more calming. Cartoons, my youth or what is left of it. Thank you Disney + for reminding of all those sleepovers with my cousins.

  • I've rounded up a few shows & movies worth rewatching in no particular order...

  • That's So Raven: I can't get over how many of my own flashbacks I had with my cousin Brenda and Tony after rewatching this show. Funny thing about Raven and I? We both think crushes are our soulmates.
  • Boy Meets World: I think this was about the same time I realized I liked boys...Shawn Hunter still makes my heart skip a beat.
  • High School Musical: Yes I know the words to every song....
  • Kim Possible: I lived and died for Kim. I remember dancing to the opening song like a crazy person with my cousins.Did I do that now at 31...perhaps.
  • The Little Mermaid: I mean, giving up everything for a man only to lose herself and still feel somewhat under appreciated? SAME!
  • Recess: I just want to start by saying this show was actually based off REAL PEOPLE the creators knew... this is arguably one of the best cartoons I watched as a kid...and now.
  • Doug: Doug is sorta annoying. I see that now.
  • Snow White: This movie terrified me as a kid, that opening scene where Snow White is just doing the most in the forest running for her life..I can't.
  • Sleeping beauty: I think Princess Aurora and I have the same sleep score.
  • Beauty and the beast: Being locked up by some beast of a man only to fall in love with him because he is legit the only other male in the house who doesn't even treat her that great and gives her things is me in a nut shell. I said what I said....
  • Aladdin: This is maybe the best movie of all time. Convince me otherwise.
  • Alice in Wonderland: I mean....we all know how I turned out. I LOVED this movie.
