This holiday season I want to make and drink more cocktails, but since I'm a responsible adult I'm not going to go nutty and stock up my bar with just anything! Campari is such a classic liqueur. A lthough the bittersweet aperitif is definitely an acquired taste, Campari cocktails are long in flavor and downright delicious.

I had the pleasure of not only working with Campari and attending the Campari Calendar starring Kate Hudson, but I was also lucky enough to sit with Kate at the round table. There were 8 of us in total so it's was very intimate, such a special moment. Seriously guys, Kate is stunning in person and extremely down to earth! I, of course, had to ask her some questions, one of them being who's your favorite Disney Princess? She's more of a Snow White kinda girl, I'm leaning more towards Jasmine.

After such a fun day with the Campari team, I had to go home and whip myself up a classic Negroni, There are SO many different drinks you can make with very little ingredients, but I happen to enjoy a good classic Negroni and, in my opinion, the best thing about drinking a cocktail is making it yourself. It just taste better.

You're gonna need this:

1 ounce of Campari
1 ounce of Gin
1 ounce of Sweet Vermouth
Garnish: 1 Orange twist

Feel free to play with the ratios in this formula and make the drink your own I personally like to add a little club soda for a little kick.

And remember, one of the cardinal rules when it comes to cocktail recipes: Nothing is Written in Stone
