Selena and I finally got a Christmas tree! I carried it on my back for 6 blocks and worked my bargain skills to get the price down (I learn from my dad). All that is now left to do is to hang my snowflakes from the ceiling, which took me 3 days to make. I'm pretty awful when it comes to cutting shit out and decorating, everything always ends up on my face.

Can't think of a better way to celebrate Christmas (is that a thing? do people say celebrate x-mas?) I'm back home now on Long Island with my family. The rain outside my window is telling me I should probably go back to sleep for an hour or two more. I doubt I'll be doing anything other than making a fire in the chimney and cooking cornbread today.
